ESS operates in almost all domains.
We have solutions for all verticals;
however, the main verticals are
discrete manufacturing, chemical,
retail and trading.
The vision and the philosophy of
the Company is to become India's
best and a world-class software
package manufacturer. How far
has this vision been triumphant?
India has done well as far as
software services is concerned.
However, when it comes to
software products we have very
few companies to name. ESS is one
amidst this select club. So, as far as
being one of India's leading ERP
package is concerned, we have
already attained this goal.We offer
a highly customised or 'Indianised'
ERP package, as we understand the
peculiarities of Indian SMB
segment well enough. Frost and
Sullivan, the renowned
management consultants, have
placed ESS amongst the top 10 ERP
vendors of India. The finding came
out as a part of the study F&S did
for assessing the market share of
various ERP vendors in India. The
study covered the figures of
Financial Year 2004.
We are taking small steps to
becoming a world-class software
package manufacturer.We have
translated user interfaces for our
flagship ERP product ebizframe
into five international languages
besides English. As of now, our
focus is on Africa.We are present in
15 countries in Africa and have
received an award for developing
new markets in Africa from
Electronics and Computer Software
Export Promotion Council (ESC) for
this initiative. However, a lot needs
to be done on international front.
What are the Technical Manpower
Outsourcing (TMO) services
provided by ESS?
This is offered as part of the Total
IT Outsourcing offering. As our
clients need different expertise at
different times, for example
networking, security, performance
tuning, DBA and more.We offer the
expert solution required at that
point in time. Obviously, the clients
cannot hire all experts on a regular
basis, as the high level expertise is
required only for a limited period
of time or for a particular project
only. Therefore, they outsource
such requirements to us.
